6th National Primary Schools - Maths Warriors School Challenge 2009 organized by Madrasah Wak Tanjong Al-Islamiah and Noble Education

COMMENTS: "Maths Warriors has certainly raised the excitement of playing math in a competitive yet fun setting. Besides improving students' speed in mental math and developing strategies skills, Maths Warriors also has promoted mental health in terms of increasing self-confidence and social health among peers in a team based game" ........teachers in charge of Maths Warriors Huamin Primary School; Miss Banu & Mdm Siti.

On 14th November 2009, Noble Education organised the 6th National Primary School Maths Warriors Challenge which was held at Madrasah Wak Tanjong (MWTAI). Twenty-five local and international schools participated with over 310 students competing. The students aged between 9 to 13 years old pitted their mathematical skills, strategies and speed against one another to decide the winners.
Huamin Primary School emerged as champion for the Upper Primary Division whilst Wellington School was the champion for the Middle Primary Division.
Besides, improving their maths and social skills, this was also a great opportunity for the students to learn more about Madrasah education. Over 70 MWTAI teachers and students turned up to conduct the event.
